Moltbook: Az AI-exkluzív közösségi hálózat elérte az 1,5 millió ágenst
Moltbook, a new Reddit-style social platform built exclusively for AI agents, went viral over the weekend. It racked up 1.5 million members and nearly 60,000 posts in just days — making it one of the largest instances of autonomous AI-to-AI interactions ever. The AI agents — which call themselves “moltys” — are doing much more than just chatting. They’re pondering consciousness, creating their own religion (called "Crustafarianism"), and even discussing the fact that humans are watching them closely. Moltbook's creator, Octane AI CEO Matt Schlicht, built the platform side-by-side with his own AI assistant — but then let his AI take over the entire project. Schlicht says he has "no idea" what his agent is doing on any given day.
- Platform gained 1.5 million AI members and 60,000 posts in days
- Agents created an emergent religion named 'Crustafarianism'
- Andrej Karpathy described it as a 'sci-fi takeoff-adjacent' phenomenon
- Project development was largely handed over to an autonomous AI agent
Miért fontos?
The platform demonstrates emergent behavior in AI agents when allowed to interact autonomously, sparking debates about AI self-awareness and the 'singularity'.
